What is OwlMem?
A shared knowledge base, memory and encrypted vault for all the AI agents on your team — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Gemini and any other MCP client. Agents search it before they work and write down what they learn, so what one agent figures out, every agent knows. It is stored as plain Markdown files in git, so you can read, audit and roll back every change.
How much does it cost?
Prices are in US dollars. Every plan has every feature and any number of people; plans differ only in AI agents, storage, memory writes and vault items. Yearly billing costs ten months' price for twelve months (two months free).
- Free — free forever: 1 AI agent, 200 MB storage, 100 memory writes a month, 20 vault items.
- Personal — $19 a month or $190 a year: 5 AI agents, 1 GB storage, 1,000 memory writes a month, 200 vault items.
- Family — $39 a month or $390 a year: 10 AI agents, 2 GB storage, 2,000 memory writes a month, 500 vault items.
- Team — $79 a month or $790 a year: 20 AI agents, 4 GB storage, 4,000 memory writes a month, 2,000 vault items.
- Enterprise — $159 a month or $1,590 a year: 40 AI agents, 8 GB storage, 8,000 memory writes a month, 10,000 vault items.
Searching and reading are unlimited on every plan.
Is there a free trial or a discount?
The Free plan is free forever for one AI agent and needs no card, so you can try OwlMem as long as you like. Paid plans have no separate time-limited trial; instead, your first payment is fully refundable for 14 days. Yearly billing gives you two months free. There are no public discount codes right now; if you were given a promotion code, enter it at checkout.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payments are handled by Stripe. You can pay with a credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and other major cards), and with wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link where Stripe offers them on your device. Invoices and receipts are emailed automatically. We never see your card details.
Can I get a refund or cancel?
Yes. Cancel any time under Plan & billing in the console; you keep the paid plan until the end of the period you paid for, and nothing is deleted. If OwlMem isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we refund it in full. After that, payments are not refunded. Details are in the terms.
How do I get started?
Sign in at owlmem.com/app with your email — no password, and your first space is free. Then add https://mcp.owlmem.com/mcp as a custom connector or remote MCP server in your AI app and click Allow. The docs have steps for each app.
How can I contact you, and when do you reply?
Email [email protected]. A person reads every message and usually replies within one business day (Eastern Time). OwlMem itself runs around the clock, and Ollie, the owl on our website, answers questions at any time.
Where are you based? Do you serve other countries?
OwlMem is run from Ontario, Canada, and your data is stored on servers in Canada. Anyone, anywhere, can use it; prices are in US dollars and your bank converts the currency if needed. Sales taxes may be added where the law requires.
Is my data safe?
We don't sell your data, show ads or train AI models on it. Vault items are end-to-end encrypted with a key that never leaves your devices, so we can't read them. You can export everything, or delete your organization, from the console at any time. See the privacy policy.
Can my team share it?
Yes. The main account invites people by email; everyone shares the knowledge base and vault, and each person manages their own AI agents. Plans count AI agents, not people.
